In a unique artistic exchange, printmakers Sarah Hopkins (Wales) and Muhammad Atif Khan (Pakistan) have created a stunning collection of 16 limited edition diptych prints. Working independently yet simultaneously, they drew upon their respective cultural heritages to craft a distinctive visual vocabulary.

Through a fascinating process of exchange, the artists sent their prints to each other via courier, traveling between Wales and Pakistan. Upon unwrapping the works, they discovered an invitation to respond, sparking a creative transformation. With mastery of printmaking techniques, they reinterpreted the original meanings, yielding unexpected and captivating results.

This innovative project marks the beginning of a broader program, featuring lectures, workshops, and exhibitions in both Pakistan and Wales. A trilingual exhibition catalogue, available in Welsh, English, and Urdu, accompanies the showcase.
